§ 810.03. OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS.

  • Establishments licensed under Section 810.02 shall provide off-street parking for vehicles with a minimum of one vehicle parking space for every four seating spaces within the establishment. If such parking area is not immediately adjacent to the building described in the license, the lot shall be plainly marked "Customer Parking Only," and the name of the licensed establishment shall appear on the sign. The parking area shall be kept clean and be sufficiently illuminated to provide safety for the customers. Entrances and exits to the area shall be plainly marked and shall be located and approved by the Traffic Engineer or such other person as Council may direct. However, the parking lot size requirement may be waived by application to the Traffic Engineer for those establishments licensed prior to July 1, 1972. For establishments licensed after July 1, 1972, this provision may be waived only by action of Council.
