§ 7.3. COMPENSATION FOR COUNCILMEN.

Each Councilman shall receive as compensation ten dollars ($10.00) for each regular meeting attended. The Mayor shall receive as compensation twelve dollars ($12.00) for each regular meeting attended. The Mayor and Councilmen shall be compensated at fifty percent of regular meeting compensation for each special meeting attended. Such com-pension shall be paid annually and, except as otherwise provided in this Charter, shall constitute the only compensation which may be paid the Councilmen and/or Mayor for the discharge of any official duty for or on behalf of the City during their tenure of office. Councilmen and/or Mayor may be reimbursed for expenses actually incurred by them on City business or in the interest of the City when such reimbursement is approved by Council.
