§ 1028.09. COSTS OF NEW CONSTRUCTION.

For all new construction, either residential or commercial, public pedestrian sidewalks shall be installed. The sidewalks shall be installed in accordance with the specifications and guidelines provided by the City. The property owner shall cover 100 percent of the sidewalk construction costs.

In cases involving large segments of new sidewalk construction through numerous parcels, property owners will be assessed 100 percent of the cost of the sidewalk construction on their respective parcels. Costs will be regulated under the special assessment procedure provided in Chapter 246.
