§ 642.01. TRESPASS.

  • (a)

    No person shall willfully enter upon the lands or premises of another without lawful authority after having been forbidden to do so by the owner or occupant, agent or servant of the owner or occupant, and no person being upon the land or premises of another, upon being notified to depart therefrom by the owner or occupant, the agent or servant of either, shall without lawful authority neglect or refuse to depart therefrom.

    (b)

    All persons not having legitimate business in and around the schools located in the City shall be deemed to be trespassing, and all police and other peace officers of the City are hereby authorized to arrest such persons.

    (c)

    Any person who inspects or removes items from any refuse container, dumpster, garbage can or other receptacle containing waste material, refuse, trash, garbage or any discarded article or substance without the prior permission of the person who owns or controls the property upon which the container or receptacle is located, or an appropriate public authority, shall be deemed to be trespassing.
