There is hereby adopted by and for the City that certain document marked and designated
as the 1998 International Energy Conservation Code, and subsequent amendments and
changes thereto, published by Building Officials and Code Administrators International,
Inc., for regulating the effective use of energy in buildings and structures as therein
provided, and each and every regulation, provision, penalty, condition and term of
such Code is hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if set forth in
full in this chapter.
