§ 804.04. ISSUANCE.

(a)

If approval by another official or department is not required, the Clerk shall deposit the fee in the Treasury and issue a signed license certificate upon receipt of the application and proper fee.

(b)

If approval of the license application requires inspection of the business location or additional authorization from other City officials or departments, the Clerk shall provide a receipt for payment of the fee to the applicant and shall immediately notify the appropriate City official or department of the need for additional inspections or approvals. The Clerk shall within five working days, provide a business license or advise the applicant in writing of the reason the license has been denied.

(c)

If, for any reason, the license is not issued, the aforesaid fee payment shall be returned to the applicant.
